If you were a student newly learning how to use adobe programs and saw
this as your next assignment try and tell me you wouldn't say "man, YOU
CRAZY!" Because that is exactly what I thought. I know it was probably the
most difficult assignment we had to do for this class. After fully paying
attention to just Amy doing the demo the first time I felt a little more
knowledgeable on the assignment, but to be honest I did not think that I would
be able to go off and do it on my own just right after that. Clearly many
other students felt the same way, but luckily this was the only assignment that
was demoed about 3 or 4 times.
On the second demo I did everything along with Amy as she did it on the
screen. She took things a bit slower this time, which made it even easier to
follow. While I still got stuck on some things we had enough of a break
in-between each step to be able to play around until I got it on my own.
Learning how to do this project made it easier for me to maneuver my way around
Adobe with more confidence.
Although it seemed as if this exercise was the worst thing ever while it
was happening, this exercise was pretty beneficial. Not all of us will go into
the computer graphics field but most us will wind up on a computer at this
point in society. Society and business especially has been taken over by
technology. Our generation knows all about this technology, having the
knowledge of knowing all of these Adobe programs is a HUGE benefactor in this
day and age. This exercise is a great way to get some background on adobe. Although
if you don’t have much experience with Adobe it may be difficult to follow
written rules.
