“To laugh often, to win the affection of children, to earn
the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of fast friends, to
appreciate beauty, to find the best in others, to leave the world a bit better,
whether by a healthy child, a garden patch… to know even one life has breathed
easier because you have lived. This to have succeeded.”
Isn’t it funny how a certain text or color or font can
remind you of one thing every time you see it. This particular font reminds me
of the quote, “we accept the love we think we deserve” from the book The Perks
Of Being A Wallflower. I read this book when I was a sophomore in high school
and ever since then every time I see this font I am reminded of this book.
It is insane how society has become so dependent on
technology to trigger a memory. The simplest of a photo can remind you of the
best day of your life. Colors can symbolize an emotion, an action or even an
event. Companies have logos or certain fonts so when you see them you are
reminded of where you first saw it and relate it back to their company.
